Gold im Kopf
For my thesis, titled Gold im Kopf, I created a short video reflecting on the loss of a friend. The work was developed under the main theme of weightless, a topic assigned by our art teacher.

how I dit it
The shot in which I am falling was executed more simply than one might think. Nevertheless, in my opinion, it works very well.

I sat on a chair and pretended to fall, ensuring the background was as clean as possible to make it easier for the masking tool to trace my outline.

Using the Magic Mask tool in DaVinci Resolve, I isolated myself, ensuring that only I remained visible in the shot.
With the help of simple keyframes, I animated the isolated images of myself to synchronize with the video of the falling flower petals.

I layered a video of falling flower petals both above and below the video layer of myself, creating the effect of flowers appearing in front of and behind me. All the videos were placed over a black background, and I applied Gaussian blur to enhance the sense of depth.
